The 2012 Scholarship Application has ended. If you still need assistance please contact us and we will see if there is anything we can do for youKey Selection: Scholarships are awarded to eligible students based on the following:
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must be admitted to Abu Hureira Academy or Dar ul Ulum
- The recipient should agree to forward his/her academic progress every term to the committee
- The duration of this award is for one year, and is renewable at the end of the academic year. (Please note the recipient must maintain an average of 70%)
Scholarships are awarded to eligible students based on the following:
- Must complete the application form – physical or online
- Two reference letters preferable from Imam, Madrassa teacher, and school teacher.
Whilst reviewing your application, we may call your references for a verbal reference. Please obtain their permission prior to submitting their phone numbers and letters
- Attach/Upload a copy of your K.C.P.E. Result slip/li>
- Applicants must provide an essay of approximately 300-650 words.
- Written entirely on your own, describing why you should be considered for the scholarship.
- Please share some of the challenges you have faced/facing as an orphan. What are some of the lessons you have learnt as a result of these challenges?
- Also tell us what are your interests, your accomplishments, your future plans or goals.
